License Information
| All hunters are required to possess a valid Texas hunting
license including any required stamps. All hunters born after September 1, 1971 must have
completed a Hunters Education Training Course. NOTE: Hunters age 16 and under can legally
hunt without a HETC if they are accompanied by a licensed hunter 17 years old or older.
There are some convenient places nearby to purchase a hunting license if you do not have
one upon your arrival at the ranch. |
DEER HUNTING |
| RESIDENT HUNTING (Type 101)
$23- Valid to
hunt any legal bird or animal NON- RESIDENT GENERAL HUNTING (Type 105) $300- Valid to hunt any legal bird or animal SPECIAL RESIDENT HUNTING (Type 102) $6- Valid ONLY for residents and non-residents younger than 17 or residents 65 years old or older. Valid to hunt any legal bird or animal. NOTE: An Archery Stamp (Type 135) $7- is required for all hunters during ARCHERY SEASON ONLY. |
HOG HUNTING |
| RESIDENT HUNTING (Type 101)
$23- Valid to
hunt any legal bird or animal NON-RESIDENT 5 DAY SPECIAL HUNTING (Type 157) $45- Legal for any period of 5 days in a row (valid dates printed on license). Valid to hunt: All non-game animals (Hogs), Exotic animals, all legal game birds, and squirrel (not valid for other game animals-Deer) |
